The accolades flowing into the hands of Delia Cosmetics founders seem to be endless this year! The family streak of significant awards is continued by Józef Szmich, who has just received a medal for promotional activities for the development of Łódź. Trophies on the occasion of the upcoming 600th anniversary of city founding were presented to distinguished people who made a real impact on the growth of the local community.
Each selection was justified in detail, and the areas in which the honorees are active are very diverse – from sports, culture and social initiatives.
Jozef Szmich was recognized for his pro-educational activities, which he carries out through active cooperation with universities and schools in Lodz. Since the beginning of his business activities, he and his wife Alina Szmich have supported many charitable organizations, including the Gajusz Foundation, the Beautiful Life Foundation, the Lodz Home for Single Mothers, Caritas of the Archdiocese of Lodz and the Full Breast Foundation for the Development of Breast Reconstruction.
The medal was presented in person by the Mayor of Lodz, Hanna Zdanowska. Congratulations on this unique award!
