Mr Józef Szmich is suspected of carrying a pocket encyclopaedia of jokes with him. He loves to create jokes, as well as unique ideas. He is a positive visionary with a particular passion for planning – not only strategical, but also related to redevelopments, which are his true hobby.
Mrs Alina Szmich
Co-founder
A mediator is indispensable in most environments. At Delia Cosmetics this role is taken by Mrs. Alina Szmich. She is the amazing person with a big and warm heart, which beats to the rhythm of absolute justice. She settles disputes and mitigates conflicts. She is always ready to provide unconditional help.
Karol Szmich
Chairman, Co-owner
Mr. Karol Szmich is a mixture of his parents’ personalities, yet improved with above-average analytical and diagnostic skills. In his daily work, he follows the path towards harmony and order, using figures and tables as his guidelines.
Marcin Polak
Managing director
He always tries to see the long-term perspective, which is why creating and implementing strategies became one of his everyday tasks.He inspires, motivates and leads teams to a common goal with commitment. He is an excetional listener and has above-average organizational skills. He supervises all operational and sales processes as well as both production plants: in Rzgów and Konstantynów Łódzki.
Outside the office he actively spends time with his family and further develops his passion for tennis and enduro bike rides.
Renata Ciszewska-Kłosińska
Marketing Deparment
Energy, inspiration and motivation are the words that describe Renata perfectly.
The expression “cannot be done” does not exist in her phrasebook. She is an avid observer of cosmetic trends, which allows her to create products and marketing campaigns for the most demanding customers.
In her spare time, she is a true local patriot – she loves Łódź for its unique vibe, exhibitions, events, concerts and urban architecture. She captures the beauty of the city in the photos that she willingly takes.
Karol Brąszewski
Technology Department
For Karol nothing is impossible! If he only could, he would willingly move into his office. He could share his remaining leave days with all employees of the company. His loyalty and commitment, together with passion for work are unlimited! As one could say: for Karol – the sky is the limit!
Marta Grąbska
Private Label Department
Marta is a multi-tasker and she certainly could become a theoretician of an innovative method of time planning and management. Why? Because – in her case, even a short break on a red light can be a perfect opportunity to send another e-mail or get some important business done.
Sylwia Gajda
HR Department
Sylwia has got a lot of extremely serious and important matters on her head, which can only compete with the amount of her blond hair. HR requires exceptional organizational skills. But, apart from perfect management of multiple tasks, Sylwia always beams with good humor. Her positive energy and good mood are highly contagious!
Aleksandra Kubala
Export Department
Ola is a strong and confident professional, who has been working in export for more than 10 years. According to her expertise: this field has no boundaries.
She establishes long-lasting business connections with great ease. She is appreciated by the clients for her flexibility, creativity and communication skills.She is driven by both success and failure. Being a woman and a conscious consumer of cosmetic products give her brilliant intuition for strategic decisions.
Privately, she is a mum of two teenagers who, like her, love travelling abroad.
Małgorzata Grabowska
Quality Control Department
Małgorzata has a multidimensional approach to quality issues. Microbiology is her passion, so like Sherlock Holmes, she follows the slightest problem, sometimes making work of other departments a bit “difficult”. However – most importantly – she always tries to find a way out of the situation! Co-workers appreciate her communication skills, willingness to help, diligence and accuracy.
In her time off she enjoys the sun, travels and hiking on mountain trails.
Grzegorz Wosik
Supply and Logistics Department
Grzegorz has been working in Delia Cosmetics since its beginning. Therefore, his vast baggage of experience within the company could be distributed among many other employees. This most probably explains why he is able to dig out the recipe for the worst problems and face the biggest challenges fearlessly!
Nina Sulima
Accounting Department
Balance sheets, accounts, income, expenses, figures and even more figures… and somewhere in between, there she is – the indestructible Nina! She is able to handle everything without the slightest problem! But accounting doesn’t take up all of Nina’s time – in between the numbers she masters art of witty retorts!
Sebastian Kałuża
IT Department
The IT systems can be uncompromising and definitely hard to argue with, nevertheless Sebastian with his above-average gift of persuasion, manages to convince them to work on his terms. He is always impartial and very fair – it is simply impossible not to like him! (and everybody knows it!)
Piotr Cepa
Sales Department
He has known Polish cosmetics market from inside out for more then 20 years, but the industry never ceases to surprise him. “No one today will give you a trophy for yesterday’s victory” – this motto guides him at work. He carefully follows current trends and monitors activities of competition to build a solid foundation for achieving sales results. He knows that nothing will happen without a great people, so he always puts most effort in team management.
Privately Piotr is a father of an adolescent guy, with whom he supports important sports events, fishes, picks mushrooms, and works as well as relaxes on his plot of land.
