Ecological thinking
We remember about corporate social responsibility and boldly invest in pro-ecological solutions. Considering shrinking resources of the planet and progressing climate change, we make effort to ensure that future generations can live in a better, cleaner environment. This is why we follow the 3R principle – reduce, reuse, recycle.
We reduce: water consumption, electricity and raw materials and waste production.
We reuse: packaging materials, components and shipping cartons.
We recycle: production waste, contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
How do we do it?
Energy
Photovoltaics
Coal-fired power plants are still the main source of electricity in Poland. Seeing the uncertain future of fossil fuels and thinking ahead, we invest in Renewable Energy Sources, i.e. RES.
An important element of RES we implemented in 2021 is a modern installation allowing us generate green electricity from solar rays. Thanks to photovoltaic cells on the roofs of our factories in Rzgów and Konstantynów Łódzki, we can produce our own ecological electricity and save. Finally, our panels will be able to reach approx. 150 kW!
Computers
- Auto turn-off monitors: After 5 minutes of inactivity, the monitor of each computer in our office will be automatically turned off. This is a simple and effective method of reducing energy consumption.
- Sleep Mode: If the user does not use the computer for 30 minutes, the system will automatically enter sleep mode. The computer then uses a minimum amount of energy, while allowing a quick resume to work.
- Hibernation: To further save energy, after 90 minutes of inactivity, each computer will enter hibernation. The device is then in a deep sleep state, consuming a very small amount of energy.
Heating and lighting
- We use environmentally friendly heating to reduce our carbon footprint.
- Current devices are being replaced with energy-saving models (e.g. cooling cabinets or incubators).
- LED lighting: we have successively replaced traditional light bulbs with energy-saving LEDs, which contributes to reducing electricity consumption.
Formulas
- We prepare short, simple formulations.
- We do not use microplastics.
- We develop waterless products (with less or no water, if possible).
- We implement cold technological processes - with less energy consumption.
- Almost 95% of our cosmetics are vegan!
- We use ingredients of natural origin.
- We create formulas with optimal expiration dates.
- We use more certified eco raw materials, also upcycled (derived from the production of other ingredients).
- We use individual packaging after recycling or for recycling.
- We only buy proven raw materials from audited suppliers.
- We conduct periodic measurements of the emission of gaseous and dust pollutants emitted into the atmosphere.
- We entrust the return of the backing labels to the pro-ecological company UPM Raflatac, who is a leading manufacturer in the field of environmentally friendly labels.
Technologies
Our commitment to environmental protection is a continuous improvement process. Here are some key initiatives that show how we care about the planet:
- Ultra-modern production lines: We have implemented innovative machines that precisely dispense liquids, reducing production losses and waste generation. The sorting robot allows for effective work at a speed of over 2,000 pieces per hour.
- We use containment tubs to avoid spillage of liquid raw materials and minimize environmental impact.

We have been granted ISO 9001, ISO 22716 and ISO 13485 quality certificates, we work according to GMP standards and we are eligible to manufacture medical products. Our technologists develop formulations using top quality components, which are confirmed by certifications – such as ECOCERT Cosmos Natural. By the end of 2021, almost 95% of our new cosmetics have been vegan!

ECOCERT COSMOS NATURAL Certificate
Last year we completed the verification process by ECOCERT Greenlife and received the ECOCERT COSMOS NATURAL certificate for the EKOflorist cosmetics line. ECOCERT Greenlife S.A.S. is an international organisation founded in 1991 with its headquarters located in France. It certifies organic and natural raw materials, finished products and their packaging as well as production and logistics processes.
Interseroh Zero Waste Solutions
Interseroh is a specialist in the closed-loop economy, which helps companies change their profile to a greener one. Through specific actions such as recycling, educational campaigns on the packaging materials management and related waste, we have contributed to the greenhouse gas emissions reduction and raising of environmental protection awareness both within the consumer society and local businesses, which was recognised by the awarded certification.
Sedex Memeber
Sedex is a global organisation that works with some of the world-renowned institutions, such as the United Nations and the Ethical Trading Initiative. At the same time, it is the world’s largest partner platform that enables it’s members to capture, analyse and manage information about risk across the supply chain. With Sedex certification, we are able to assess social and environmental risk better than ever.
